چکیده

The significance of Distributed Generators (DGs) in the technical and economic operations electric power distribution systems cannot be overemphasized recent times. This is essential as a result incessant increase electrical energy demand, which becoming considerably difficult to meet with conventional means supply. Thus, DGs offer better alternatives for providing quality supply near site consumption. type cleaner cheaper most time due lessened transmission losses, consequently reduced cost operation at levels system. In this work, an approach placement sizing solar PV into radial networks (RDN) based on capacity factor was analyzed using particle swarm optimization. aim study analyze effect real reactive losses within network well bus voltage profile. Constraints credible system parameters, includes limits, balance, flow are considered formulation optimization problem. order verify viability deployed approach, steady-state performance analyses were executed IEEE 33-bus RDN; results obtained compared from other approaches reported literature.

Distributed Voltage Control in Distribution Networks with High Penetration of Photovoltaic Systems

In this paper, a distributed method for reactive power management in a distribution system has been presented. The proposed method focuses on the voltage rise where the distribution systems are equipped with a considerable number of photovoltaic units. This paper proposes the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMMs) approach for solving the optimal voltage control problem in a distri...

Resilience-Based Framework for Distributed Generation Planning in Distribution Networks

Events with low probability and high impact, which annually cause high damages, seriously threaten the health of the distribution networks. Hence, more attention to the issue of enhancing network resilience and continuity of power supply, feels more than ever, all over the world. In modern distribution networks, because of the increasing presence of distributed generation resources, an alternat...

Cooperative control strategy for multiple photovoltaic generators in distribution networks

A cooperative control strategy was provided to regulate the active and reactive power outputs of multiple photovoltaic (PV) generators installed on a distribution network. The proposed control strategy not only makes a group of PVs converge and operate at the same ratio of available power, but also regulates the total active and reactive power outputs of the PVs such that the active power acros...
